To solve the climate crisis, society will need to see a rapid acceleration of novel, breakthrough technologies—from industrial decarbonisation to new ways of producing clean energy. 

That’s why we’re excited to announce that we are opening applications for three accelerator programs to fund and support founders building startups at the frontier of this global challenge:

⛏️ Rio Tinto Mining Tech Accelerator Program

Mining is essential for a transition to net zero, as a number of critical rare earth materials and precious metals underpin the technology for renewable energy and electrification. We’re working with one of the world’s biggest mining companies to shape the future of the industry.

🌊 Blue Action Accelerator Ocean Tech Program

After our first program launched nearly a year ago, we’re building our next cohort of ambitious startups addressing challenges in the ocean and coastal space. 

🏞️ Western Australia Government Nature Tech Program 

Western Australia is one of the world’s richest biodiversity hotspots. Backed by the WA Government, and investing locally and globally, we’re investing in founders innovating around decarbonisation, diversification, and resilience in nature. 

Founders: Apply to join a program

Successful applicants will join a 4-month program, receiving capital and rigorous expert support in developing, funding, and commercialising their technologies – including access to natural testing grounds and commercial opportunities with corporate partners. 

Deadline for applications is July 31st.

We’re inviting recommendations for top startups and founders building in these industries. Your referrals are highly appreciated and we’ll notify you if they join.
